The winery stands on high ground overlooking the River Mendienike valley at around 400 metres above sea level. Our oldest vineyards are located throughout the Ribera Navarra in Ablitas, Barillas, Fitero and Cintru\u00e9nigo. From this privileged spot to the north we can see the Ebro valley and the Pyrenees beyond while to the south-east is the imposing Moncayo peak.<\/p>\n

Moncayo\u2019s proximity determines our climate: cold continental in winter and warm Mediterranean in summer, with a number of microclimates that depend on the height of the vineyards. The area receives 300 mm of rainfall and over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, with constant gusts of wind blowing in from the north-west known locally as \u201dEl Cierzo\u201d.
\nThis wind cools the grapes in summer, delaying the ripening process. When the fruit reaches it optimal ripeness, the grapes reflect the strength of the vine that produced them with all their splendour, producing wines of great aromatic concentration, freshness and structure. <\/p>\n
